Ive got a Clifford Concept 60 alarm that I will be installing into my 1995 Cavalier Z24. Im fine as far as the general install goes. But Im still kinda in the dark about the power locks.
In the clifford install manual it shows six sets of lock / unlock wires marked as :
Door lock n.o      Door unlock n.o
Door lock n.c      Door unlock n.c
Door unlock comm.
Door lock comm.
After it tells this it says refer to the Door lock / unlock section of this manual. which I dont have.
which sets of wired do I use?? from what I gathered my door locks on the car are reverse polarity and ill need to wire in a couple relays ( no problem in this ) am I correct with the door lock type on this car????
Any help would be great.   Im planning on installing the alarm sometime this week.   sorry this was soo long.
Thanks in advance

This car uses 5 wire locking mechanism.  Lock wire is light blue and unlock is white.

Here's the full manual (I'm assuming that you meant the Concept 600 (not 60))... check it out and see if this clarifies things any:

Hope that helps... if not let us know, I'm sure that someone here can help.  ;)

The six door lock wires from the brain go two built-in relays onboard, so that you DON'T have to use extra relays.
The two door lock wires you've found in the car need to be cut. The commons go to the side that leads to the actuator, the normally closed go to the other side.
The normally opened wires both tie into +12V if your actuators rest at ground. If they rest at +12V, then the n.c. contacts both tie into ground.

If you do have the Concept 60, which is different from the 600, email me. I have a pdf for you on door locks.
