Hi

WE have installed a car starter on a 1997 Merc. C280. Everything works fine but the starter. It is acting like the key has a chip in it but it does not. I checking in the www,12voltdirect.com site and the transponders started in 98. Would I need to hook up the key sense wire? HOw would I know the polarity of it?

Thanks

Use PURPLE / green to bypass factory starter kill for remote start. Vehicle also has a 2nd IGN wire ( test to see if voltage drops during start, if it does, set up as 2nd ACC instead ).
