I have a dealer with a 97 maxima and the factory alarm goes off at all hours of the night. i tried just throwing a ground to the factory disarm wire, but now the door locks won't work. anyone know where the factory module is and any bypass to get this guy out of my hair!?!

thanks

Dave

yes, but the wire wants to see a pulse, a constant grounding of the wire makes the dook locks work,  the system is screwed by the dealer doesnt want to put any $$ into car and asked me to just make it go away like i have a magic wand *lol* i was hoping someone might know location of module and a bypass to kill alarm but not lose any functions in the car other then the alarm itself. used car dealers are so damn cheap i tell ya.

thanks for any input guys

Dave

the theft module is at the left side of the steering column it will say theft alarm or something like that on the front of the module. the keyless entry module is at the passenger kick panel. unplugging the theft module should get those cheap tight waad small mom & popz dealer of your back. let us know how it went.
