i just got my car broken n to i had that auto page with the car display on it. and they got pass that by stickn a screw driver thru the tail. is there any way i can provent these from happen again? please hit me back.

what do you mean "stickin a screwdriver in the tail"? what is the tail?

Do you mean they shorted out your taillights? If you do not have a seperate fuse on your parking light wire then you need to add one to prevent shorting out the alarm power.

The only way to prevent theft is to not own a car. Now if you meant that they disabled your alarm by sticking a screw through the tail light, then your alarm was NOT installed right. It means that who ever installed the alarm cut the fuse off the alarm's wire harness. Disabling the alarm this only happens in "Gone in Sixty Seconds".

This should be a lesson to all of us that no matter what kind of alarm we have, you can never be too OVERLY confident. There is NO thief-proof alarm system!

Sorry to hear bout the car - always a shame when someone messes with another man's car. Getting back to the fuse - I don't have one either - what amp fuse should I use? I know I can use OHM's Law and do the math . . . but I'm lazy and I think others who read this post may be interested as well.

i agree 110%... even with the best alarm, if people who know what there doin they can do it quick and easy... thats y u have to learn from your mistakes.
