I am wiring a bait vehicle for our police department.   The device we are using sends constant ground for lock and unlock.  I've never had a problem wiring other vehicles, but am now trying to install a 1999 Acura Integra and am having problems.

I located the correct wires and everything seem to be working fine.  Then started locking fine, but would not unlock.  I found that by some combination I still have quite figured out of unlocking the passenger door with the key and holding my tounge right I could get it to start working again.  But then after awhile I would start having the problem again.  I can't figure out why sometimes it works and sometimes it dosen't and haven't figured out exactly the combination of things to get it working again.

Do I have the wrong wires?  Or is the their something else in how the door locks funciton I need to account for?

Thanks,

Mike

The I found the unlock wire per the wiring diagram on bulldogsecurity.com ,in the driver kick panel (BLACK/ red).  I found that as it says in the diagram the wires only test using the passenger switch.  I don't show any voltage at rest.

I've played around with it a bunch more and I can't duplicate the problem on demand, but I found that when it does occur if I unlock the paseenger door with the key, turning the key twice to the left, it works normally again.

When I'm in this error condition the driver lock/unlock functions correctly, and the passenger lock works, but not unlock.  It's goofy.
