Hi all.
I have a 1989 ford Bronco ii and for the life of me I can not get the door locks wired up properly. I keep blowing fuses. I have used the diagrams provided on this site but I keep blowing the fuse on the positive connection. @ 86 and 87. If any one has experience with ford locking systems maybe they could give me some tips.
Cheers
Travis

I found the problem. I have the wrong type of relay's my relay shows that 87 and 87a are common. This I think is why it is screwing things up. Can anyone tell me where to get a switching relay and what the difference between these is????, I want to avoid getting the wrong kind again.
Thanks
Travis

make sure you test your door lock/unlock wires with a digital multimeter to know which one is your switch and which one is the motor wire.
