ok... heres the scoop on my load of poop :D
i got a Code-Alarm system for my truck, im in the process of installing but having problems with remote start and passlock2 bypass... the truck is a 2000 chevy s-10 blazer and im using a Code-Alarm CSI 400 unit...
i bought a universal passlock bypass unit today for it hooked up but problems persist... it starts with the key like it should, but when i go to remote start it starts then dies cus the passlock isnt being bypassed or something... then when i go to start with the key again it does the same :(
so i unplug the main ignition harness and wiggle the wires and stuff to check connections (seems to be the brown keycheck wires is always loose) then hook it back up then it works...
i repeat the process of trying to remote start but it stuff gets messed up GM Passlock2 ignition bypass -- posted image. sooo i need some suggestions...
plz help me all u genius people :D thanks

Not sure what wire you are talking about

PASS 2 Units can be Hard wired or DATABus Units...........

Which do you have??  Have U checked to see if your PASS 2 Unit is wired correctly?

What happens when you start the vehicle with the key, and then do a takeover with the remote starter? Does the vehicle die right away, or does it continue to run and does the security light illuminates on the cluster?

if i try to start with the key it starts then the BCM kills it... then i try to start with the key and it wont start... then pull the fuse for the BCM try to start with key then replace fuse and it works with key... think my bypass unit isnt set rite or something... i just ordered the autosensing Bulldog Security unit... hopefully i can get it to work :)

Let the vehicle sit for 15 minutes. Then start it with the key. Once it's running then do a take over with the remote starter and remove the key. Does the security light come on?
