I purchased a 91 Cad from my folks a few years ago that has a "Clifford Commander" as the brain of the security system.  They had no problems during the time they had the vehicle.  I've had nothing but problems with it (trunk popping open, lights flashing, doorlocks locking/unlocking, etc.) and beleive it has something to do with the fact that I live within a few miles of an Air Force Base.  I believe the radar or avionics they use on their training aircraft is the frequency my alarm uses and thus, the problem.

When the aircraft don't fly, my problem goes away.  When I drive to town or out of town and away from the airbase the problem goes away.  I know my problem has to be related to the airbase in some way; however, when I spoke to local alarm shops about it, they looked at me like I was nuts.

Has anyone experienced this or worked with someone who has before?  Anyone familiar with the "Clifford Commander" alarm system and know if there's anything I can do with it?

Any help/feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

Mark
