I have a command start model 290i that was in my 99 stratus when I bought it and it didn't come with a remote, I found a remote which is a CS555, and was told there should be a way to program it using a series of toggle switch switches and button pressing on the remote?? If anyone can help me with the exact procedure it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Very simple.  Open the hood, park lights should come on.  Wait until the park lights go out.  Then press the hood switch and release.  When park lights are on, press and release switch again.  This time the lights should stay on.  Press button 1 on the remote and the park lights will go off.  close the hood and your transmitter is now programmed.

Thank you very much, worked like a charm, my hood switch was a bit flaky but a couple of presses and the park lights came on.

Again very much appreciated thanks very much.
