There are actually only 2 ignition wires.  One is Pink and the second is White.

There is also accessory wire which is orange and the starter wire which is yellow.

If you remote start does not have enough outputs you can hook up a relay like this:

85 - remote start - output while running
86 - First ignition wire ( pink )
87 - 12V+ fused.  (red wire going to ignition switch)
30 - white ignition wire

87a not used.

I was about to say that your dealer is crazy, but I just found some tech info that says a third ignition is present in some models.  Also, if you see a brown wire, that just powers up the radio---you don't have to worry about it.

That is really wierd.  I must have done 100's of 95-98 trucks and not once have I ever seen a 3rd ignition wire.  I doubt very much that yours will have this.

Ah, now I know whats going on.  On some GM trucks 95-98 the wire will be pink/white on one side of that big connector and white on the other.  There will never be 3 ignition wires present just in some cases the wire will be pink/white instead of white depending where you get the wire.
The white wire powers up the transmission, speedo and tach.
I have a GM service manual here that confirms this.
