it has bee a while since i have been on here so i would liek to welcome myself back forst of all.

i installed a remote start and alarm in an 05 and everytrhing works fine i used an audiovox aps 786 and a pkg5 from trilogix (bypass kit.com). the only thing is when i rempte start it displays either a starter disabled message or a service theft system message, and if the sun is properly aligned with the moon it will display both. any suggestions? i have encountered this problem on the newer grand prix when using a 555u, ut i used a databus module this time so i am not so sure why for it has decided to throw codes up. any clue.

What software version and hardware version do you have for the PKG5 ? If it's an older version, you may want to upgrade the module to a newer version or go with the GMBP databus module. All newest version module from Trilogix have the new orange and black labels on the casing.
