Please help  with putting the keypad into valet mode. Note: I have a green light where the pound button would normally be found.

Are you saying there is no # button or just that it has broken off?   Haven't used these in a long time,  but I think Valet mode was a combination of # and *  or  1 and #.    Assuming the # key has brocken off,  most of the rubber type keys have a conductive coating that touches a grid/finger type pattern of the circuit board for that paticular key.  If you can see this, you can try sticking something conductive like a small flat screwdriver or a shaped piece of aluminum foil to touch the area where the keypad would have on the circuit board.   This is no permanent solution, just a temp to "press" that key.
