Hello to All...

I've just installed an ULTRA-9000 alarm with to actuators working fine..., but I still can't set the cut-off relay..., I mean, I follow the diagram: 30 to Starter 87 to ignition key 85 to alarm output and 86 to 12v+ ignition like in: https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page2.asp "Normally Open Starter Kill" but I can't start that way the engine..., it doesn't start...

I was told by the seller that when the car is hijacked and the anti-hijack system enters the engine will turn off, żis that true?

This alarm is installed in a 77 VW Sedan (beettle).

Thanks.

Actualy the alarm works with the always-open switch...

Yesterday afternoon I was cheking if it worked [the relay] and how using a multimeter..., so I found that when the key is switched to ON the relay closes, so the stsrter can work..., BUT when the key goes to the START the relay is disable...., Why?, well I think the plastic switch in the cylinder is not working very well..., probably all I need is to change it...THANKS FOR YOUR INSTEREST.

P.S. Do you know if it is true that this alarm can realy shut down the engine...?
