As for how hard is it to install, what vehicle are you installing it in?

These systems are crap !! Not very good remote controls and there are about 10 other companies that sell the same version of this alarm on eBay for about $ 135.00 - $ 150.00

I can confirm that those units are not fun to work with or own. They do have good range though. If you want a quality FM combo, go to www.slickcar.com, or www.commandocaralarms.com (same owners) and request information on their new FM-760. It comes with a much better design and quality FM remote as well as an additional waterproof 8-button AM remote. It also comes with pos or neg door lock output and drivers priority unlock...among many more features. They do not have these new ones on their website yet since they just arrived yesterday, but it is worth giving them a call. If you want one right away, the FM-5000 combo does not have an additional remote, and does not have drivers priority door unlock or pos output for door locks but it is a very good product nevertheless.
