plain stand alone rem starter going in, cust keeping factory keyless entry.

I already explained  about toyota door locks dont work wile engine is running, he has no prob with it. I know it has a transponder.

last one I did I sortof remember the parking lights being a pain- it was last season-didnt take notes. I have a wire chart for it, just looking to see if anyone else has one I can compare mine to- or any heads ups?

thanks in advance men.

there is a way to interface the locks on the sequoia to work while the vehicle is running. ive done one about a year ago and i think the problem with the lights is that they stay on after the remote starter is shut off, ill have to dig though my notes.....

i think what you had to do, is use a relay to interrupt the auto headlight wire coming off of the steeing column, so when you remote start the vehicle the relay will interrupt that wire so the autolights wont turn on, so then when you shut off the remote start, or when it times out the autolights wont stay on. let me know if this worksfor you

mxx, thanks

but now thinking about it i kindof remember going right to the back of a parking light(under the hood) and it bypassed that timer circuit? I'll do a quick jumper wire test to the back of a light tomorrow, and if it dont shut off - then I'll use the relay interupt like u said.

thanks again mxx
