here's the problem. I'm doing a remote starter in this vehicle. it has a factory security system thats tied in with the door lock wires. Whenever you remote start the vehicle, the disarm wire (tapped into the unlock wire per DEI) will unlock the car. I hooked the factory rearm wire into the lock wire and after it starts, it will lock the vehicle again and arm the alarm like it sould, but with this car, that sets off the alarm. Any way to hook up a starter in here and be able to start the car without having the car unlocked????

Try:

FACTORY ALARM DISARM  ----  BLUE/GREEN (-) or BLUE (-) ----@ SECURITY MODULE

FACTORY SECURITY Module is located under the PASSENGER hush panel far to the right.   Requires (2) 7mm bolts removed to access

alright this was a night mare.

all the techsheets i found (astroflex dei etc. ) said the same thing about the locks.  yellow pink in driver kick type f locks.  well this didn't work for me. what i did was at the fact. sec. mod behind the glove box, there's an orange wire and a pink wire. I tested these and found orange to be lock and pink unlock. its a simple 5-wire or rev. polarity set up. bingo locks work fine. the disarm however will unlock the doors while the car is running, and if the car gets locked while its running the alarm will go off. i didn't find any way around that one. hope this helps anybody who gets the punishment of working on one of these.
