I saw the post before and couldn't resist. I've put in my first astra 777. Now... the only reason I bought this unit was because I heard it's the same company that made the Millenium pager (which I've have excellent experience with the range).I've been trying to do a search of my own for which two way unit has the best range but I got to say the range on these things intermit too many times. The pager would respond to a break in about only 50 feet away (if your lucky), remote and pager would disarm/remote start the doors sometimes only 3 feet away. I've tried parking the vehicle at different locations, I've tried changing batteries, and relocation of the antenna....but nothing.

This is the post i was talking about
"You should be contacting the place you bought the equipment from for a new unit, not scytek. I do not believe they deal with the general public for warranty or installation issues very often.. Instead of emailing them, try calling them. I have never had a problem calling them. And the range issue, I have never had one. It usually has great range.    I have installed about 75 Astra 777 and 50 5000RS+ I have only had to send 1 brain back in 125+ of their alarms. I have had to send back about 7 of the 2way pagers though because customers break them. I have never had a problem with them at all.    We quit carrying them because we had problem getting product during remote start season. Back to Top"

I quit carrying them because of a 40% + failure rate. Worst POS alarms and alarm starters I have ever carried. Nothing worse than wasting my time, my installers time and the valued customers time over a POS security or starter system.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
