I'm a noob, but want to do this right. No dealer in the area, but this was the alarm I chose. Please help me :)
A few questions.
CN1 #1&3- Has 2 12+ constant (inputs?) - Can these both be hooked up to the 12+ constant wire on column? Why would the unit need 2 inputs?
#2 "power to the parking light" Why does this output need to be fused?
#3 again, the second wire is attached to a relay, why would I need to use this, or what is a comman possible use?
CN2 #1 If the parking light output is correct on CN1's harness, why or what do I do with this?
Also, what are the status output, ignition ouput etc used for here, it seems like these were all covered on CN1's harness
CN3 - I've got, pretty self explanitory I think. I wire up the corresponding sensor to the indicated pin. It doesn't look like this car's harness has a seperate pin for the trunk/doors. The directwire info I recieved has the same colored wire, same location for both the door triggers and the trunk trigger?!? Any way to seperate these without installing a switch for the trunk?
CN4 - Simple, easy, done
CN5 - ?!?!?! WHAT is the rearm, disarm, dome light supervision (is this to activate the dome when I disarm, etc?) I get the horn and siren wires however :)
What is a comman/good use for the 2 aux outputs here?
The rest is pretty much plug/play, but I would GREATY EVER SO GREATLY appriciate anyones time in helping me out with some or all of these questions. I'd rather go slow, plan, and do it right once, than have to do it twice!
Thanks!

Thought on the CN5 thing. Are these wires to use with a factorm alarm system, to disarm and rearm it for use with the remote start?! I think I'm learning, but wanna make sure :)

CN1 #1&3- Has 2 12+ constant (inputs?) - Can these both be hooked up to the 12+ constant wire on column? Why would the unit need 2 inputs? you should hook these up to 2 different 12volt wires on the column if possible. 1 input to supply power to cpu and ign the other to power starter and accessory.

2 "power to the parking light" Why does this output need to be fused? don't know why for sure mabe just in case there is a short in lights or if you add trailer lights it doesn't over load the brain trying to operate more lights then recommended.

CN2 #1 If the parking light output is correct on CN1's harness, why or what do I do with this? don't need this unless you have negative parking lights

Also, what are the status output, ignition ouput etc used for here, it seems like these were all covered on CN1's harness    status output comes on  one sec before ign on and continues one sec after ign off. ign output, acc output, starter out put are used if you have more the ign acc or starter wire you need to power up

Any way to seperate these without installing a switch for the trunk? if you trunk comes on with dome light no way to change it unless you put in your own mercury switch

you are right on the cn5 thing some cars need there factory alarms disarmed before remotestart. cn5 3 is for dome light is turned on for 1 min after unlock auto transmission only

there is more explaination on page 5 of you manual under notes

Thanks! I have a few more if you or someone else has time:
There is a second prewired relay on the CN1 harness. What is this used for?
If I want to install a window module such as the DEI 530T, I see that I need the neg output when armed wire. Can I use the same purple wire on the CN1 harness that is for the starter disable/anti grind, or will I loose control of the windows because the anti grind feature is on when the car is running? ie: the alarm only supplies neg output when the remote start is on, or it's armed correct?
I want to be able to have the alarm roll the windows up when I arm it. Rolling down or venting isn't a priority at all. I want to be able to pull up, have the turbo timer feature working, arm the car, and walk away, it rolls windows up etc...

One more.
I see on CN1 the green and white wires are to power the acc and ignition. Do I actually cut the acc and ignition wires on the column, or simply splice into them? I'm thinking I actually cut them, but would like to make sure :)

There is a second prewired relay on the CN1 harness. What is this used for? 2nd ign acc or starter you can wire it up if you need it if you don't then just leave it and don't hook it up.

for the 530T that output won't work I have the same setup on my caprice and it wouldn't pluse it enough to roll the window up. you can either get a pluse time relay can't remember the part number right now or just hook it up aux 2. If you do it to aux 2 it is alittle more of a hassle but 1 good thing is if you get out of the car and you want the windows down they won't go up when you arm the car.

the only wire you need to cut is for the starter kill. all others are spliced in. well except for the window module wires.

if you got any more ? let me know

Additional notes,
You don't need 2nd ignition, Accessory, or Starter for your car. So, tape that wire up and spend your time on something doing something else instead.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.Compustar, 95 Talon -- posted image.
