I have a 2002 Grand Am, and I have a wire diagram that shows a 2nd Accessory wire needs to be tapped.  Is this necessary or is it just extra information. It seems excessive unless it is necessary to power the blower.

Thanks

You will need this connection because it controls ignition functions for the vehicle to start properly. If not connected, the starter will not engage or the transmission will run very badly.

Here are the wire guide I am refering to.  I know that the two Ignition wires are required, but I am not so sure both accessory wires are necessary.

Jeff, Bulldog and design tech both dont mention the Brown accessory for remote installation, but the rest is consistent. I guess that is why I was second guessing the wire chart above.

BROWN wire is for the wipers and radio... not necessary unless customer is really corny and wants the wipers/radio to be controlled while entering into vehicle.
