I had a remote-start installed at Circuit City a few days ago.  The install guy was able to get the remote start fob to unlock the driver door, but not the remaining passenger doors.  Anyone have any ideas what he could have missed?  He said he tried to determine which wires in the BCM could affect this, but didn't find any other wires besides the one to activate the drivers door.  The OEM fob still works as usual... once to unlock drivers door, twice to unlock all other doors.

Without a way to fix this, I have two choices... carry both fobs (kinda defeats the purpose) or have to unlock driver door then unlock remaining doors from inside vehicle... which is a pain when you need to load groceries in the cargo area.  Help!

My intention is to return to CC, but I was hoping to have some supporting data to take with me to reduce the runaround and doubletalk I would expect from a chain store.

There is a green wire next to the blue lock wire in the
BCM that controls the unlock all other doors feature. Have the installer diode isolate the unlock wire and pulse both the white and green wires to unlock all doors.

Sparkie, Thanks for the info.  I'll have the guy give that a try and post my results.

I did a little recon on the BCM myself and was easily able to verify (with a multimeter) that the green wire unlocks the driver door and the white unlocks all of the other doors.   Since my remote start unit already contains two unlock circuits (one for doors and one for trunk), do you think it would hurt to skip the diode isolate and just wire the trunk release to the unlock all doors wire?  It would actually retain more of the safety, by only unlocking the driver door with the door button and then the rest of the doors with the trunk release.  Do you see any pitfalls?  Thanks for all of the advice and assistance.

You could use the trunk release output to trigger the other doors to unlock. The BCM requires a positive pulse, so you may require a relay to convert the output from your unit from a negative to a positive. Get CC to do it for you, as you are the one who is correcting their mistake.
