Mercedes Benz S 500 Kompressor has a Black Out problem. The Drivers side door which controls the complete electronics for the rest of the doors and power seat is completely dead. All the door windows are non functional except the front passenger window and power seat which actually work. The instrument panel along with the Audio (Deck) is completely dead, the gauges don't work and the instrument panel display lights are off. Also the headlights and park lights around the car switches on when the car starts, even though the light switch is off. The engine starts and the car can drive and the A/C works but the electrical mentioned about is completely shot.

I checked all the power wires, fuses and relays and all are fine. I suspect that the Electronic Controller Box is malfunctioning, this can be found built in the fuse box unit.

Is there anyone with a similar problem? Some advise would be appreciated.

What has been done to the vehicle if anything, aftermarket wise? It sounds like there is either a major fuse blown or that there is a harness somwhere in the vehicle that came undone.
If you or your shop didn't do anything to this car and are just looking at it I would recommend walking away and tell the customer to take it to the dealership.

Walking away sounds like the easy way out but you have a point because this could lead to disaster. The S500 was working well all the time and no work was done to it in any way. The problem just came on suddenly and I will consider the MB dealer to address this problem.
