My Commando alarm system has a positive parking light wire. How do I hook this wire to my parking lights? If I connect the wire directly to the parking light wire in the steering column, the lights stay on.

you alarm sends a pulse to the parking light wire every time u press lock or unlock or if the alarm has been triggered you don't need a relay for. read the instructions and u will find out the answer.
