I had a tilt sensor installed today (with my Viper 791xv) and the tilt sensor has gone off about 4 times in the last 3 hrs. today. I don't know why because my truck is just sitting in my driveway. My truck is an 05 Chevy Crewcab. Any ideas?
It went off once and then again a min to three minutes later. Even after I had put the key in the ignition and turned it to reset the momeory of it. I was told the tilt sensor I should get is the newer digital (I believe) version.

I'm having the same problem with a customer of mine.

It goes off randomly, but more in his parking lot at work.  The lot is level with nothing out of the orindinary in the area. I tried three different dipswitch settings, and just yesterday disconnected it to make sure the Viper was reading sensor 2 correctly. I'm waiting to hear from him to see if it's continuing. If it is, at least I know I have to check further. But sensor 2 keeps showing on the remote every time it goes off.

Anyone??

I'e seen tilt sensors go off if someone drives by with loud exhaust, a lot of bass, or a big rig truck or even a garbage truck. They seem much more sensitive than impact sensors.

Same here.   It works perfectly, but then after about 2-3 hours, it just keeps triggering.  I've tried 2 of these 507T sensors and same result.  I have it hooked up to zone 1 on my 790xv (the trunk) and the sensor is activated by the grounded when armed wire.  Anyone know if the new 507M is any better or is it just the same sensor re-packaged?
