Switch light Integra

Okay this is what I'm trying to do,  I have two lights above, in the middle, right by the sunroof, one driver and one for passenger, it's controlled by a button, I think they call it reading lights,  

Well, what I want to do is let them be controlled by the dome lights, so when I open the door, it goes on and turn off when the door is closed, and still be controlled by the button, should I jump the dome light to the reading light,

I'm  not sure where to start 

connect it to the domelight and then keep the same button you have so that when the domelight  is not feeding it you can still feed it with the switch...
