Hello all. I have a question in regards to the viper 771xv. The brain to the system is defective. I have a friend who has a brain to the 671 xv. Can I use that brain for my 771 system without problem?
Thanks alot in advance.

Whst is worng with the 771.
Most the wiring is the same. only things different is the igntion input. on the 771 is with the relays fo rthe remote start, on the 671 its in the main harness, this be the yellow wire. which will NOT be on yours you have to add it.
Also the WHITE/ blue on the 771 is for remote start inside the car, on the 671 its for ch 3. if you did not have those hook up all you need to do is add a wire to the main harness for igntion.
