Basic vehicle without keyless entry, no immobilizer and no additional accessories: About 1.5 - 2 hours depending on if I had worked on a similiar vehicle before.

A vehicle with immobilizer bypass rewuired and keyless entry ( type C ) : About 3 -4 hours depending on if I had worked on a similiar vehicle before.

Additional accessories require more time like trunk release, power door lock actuators & window modules.

Hey mobiletoys,

Your boss should worry about quality and not quanity. Unless he want's more and more than there can be a possiblity of returns for problems which will take you away from producing more and fixing more. I agree with Jeff on the amount of time those tyoe of installs should be considering all connections are soldered. That's the only way that I do all my connections. It's S.S.S.=Solid,Secure,and So neat!how long should a remote start take??????? -- posted image.

Here is a way to do alot more than 8 cars a day.... have you ever tag teamed a installation ? It take about 40 minutes to do an alarm/ RS installation with all the bells and whisltes. One installer tackles the engine wires and running the wire through the firewall & the other ones works under the dash. Make sure you have the more experienced person under the dash so it goes quicker. Just remember that not all vehciles require a two person effort, just the ones that have passenger wire connections and under the hood connections as well. If you have someone there that can prewire the harness for 2nd ACC and type-C door locks & trunk release relays, it will make things go alot faster.
