Ok heres a little background on what I've been working on. A few weeks ago I installed an Autoloc Keyless Entry system. It has a 4 channel remote and all of that works fine. Well this week I installed remote start. I installed it correctly because if I take the negative imput wire and touch it to the chassic ground the remote start will power up and start my car. The problem I have found is that when I press the open channel on the remote either no signal is sent from the remote, or no imput is sent from the reciver to initiate the starting of the car. So someone thought that maybe that channel of the remote was no programmed. My instructions are only 1 page and on that page it makes references to page 5 and some I was never given. So my question is anyone who is familiar with Autoloc do I have to program those remotes to use other things? My keyless entry works fine, its just not working with the remote start. I've racked my brain on this for a long time. I did hook up a 30AMP relay so I know it has enough power to start it. I just can't trigger it by remote. Help me out if you can please.

I heard most outputs for aftermarket were negative. I know the remote start requires negative because it turns on if I touch the wire to the chassis negative ground. I believe I tried before to get the thing to turn on when I used the positive imput, but still nothing worked.

Well by the way there are wires hanging from the reciever and each one was a different channel so I plugged into into one of them.

try using a relay like this

86-neg activate

85 and 30 12 volts

87-to pos  channel......

also some remotes have a delay....maybe press it down for 5 secs see if it kicks then

I'll probably try out that positive relay to see what happens.
