2005 Chevy Malibu, Avital 2100

I'm installing the Avital 2100 in a 2005 Chevy Malibu.  I know that the disarm wire is purple and (-).  What do I do now to disarm the factory system.  Any help would be appreciated.

Ground this to the chassis with a jumper wire. The Avital system doesn't have a disarm wire so you will not be able to use the OEM system along with the Avital system.Jeff

You could use Double Pulse for Disarm & Unlock, but if the Factory Alarm was triggered, alot of these Malibu's would NOT Disarm without using the Factory remote ORUse a DLM-3 from OMEGA....will Lock / Unlock & DisarmMO

need the wiring for a 2005 Chevy Malibu.  If possible also need the install instructions for a Avital 2100.  Tried Avitals site, but the istall section seemed to be down.  Any help would be appreciated.
