Tryin to get a Solaris 5 to work in a 2000 Corvette.. its 5 speed.. I've tested and pretty sure I've found several tach/speed sense wires. I have the Wizard software installed.. i can not program the tach.
Also does the BLACK/ green (automatic) wire HAVE to be connected... If I connect it the remote start sequence works but It'll shut off immediately... With the software, It'll only start w/ the "pulse start" feature after turnin the ignition on..
If I leave the BLACK/ green wire unplugged and do the remote start sequence.. the car doesnt remain started when i pull the key out.. anyone know why?
The solaris g4 (i've installed a few of these) have had no problems such as this! anyone know..

What color wire did you use for the Starter wire, Yellow? This wire will show negative when the key is in the ignition, and will not allow the car to start when cut. Do NOT use for remote start.
or Yellow/black (BCM)? Yellow/black at the BCM may be used for starter interrupt.
Double check that the key side and ignition side of the IGNITION wire aren't reversed. This would cause the remote starter to inject +12v into the keyside of the cut wire and nothing to the ignition side. When you turn the key to off you should still be getting +12v on the Ignition wire if the remote starter is engaged.
Just a few things to check.
