Test to see if you are getting the - pulse ch. 2 output from your alarm.

How do you test if your getting a (-)neg 200ma output from the alarm,

Just  connect to (+) pos and connect the ground from the meter to the alarm,

and just push the channel 2 button and the volt should go to 12-0 volts? How Do you test a (-) neg 200ma from alarm -- posted image.

What if you don't get a neg(-) output from the alarm, is that an option you turn off/on on the alarm?

There may be an option on this wire, you will need to look that up in your install manual. Usually, there is something that comes out of an AUX channel wether it is a pulsed or a latched or constant, but always something ....... unless it's a (+) AUX trigger output ??
