My alarm was working fine when all of the sudden my friend forgot to disarm the car with the remote and insted disarmed it with the key (my car is a 1994 audi quattro with stock alarm as well as the 791xv) Then the alarm went of and we could not get it to stop we took of the bat cable and put it back and it was still going.Can anyone please advise of what the problem might be??

its prolly coincidently that ur remote is bad. those remote are prone to trouble. however, if you take apart ur remtoe, youll see that one out of two board connector is apart. place a piece of tape, 1/8" thick, on top of the board so it sits against the casing.

So i'll take apart the transmiter there are 2 boards i will put the tape in between the boards or on top so that they are touching each other???

Also I took or all the cables of the brain and every time I put them back the siren goes on.

I will try to take  a apart the transmiter
