I picked up a command start 2500 from a buddy and just put it in my fuel injected 1964 Chev 1/2 ton.
First of all it works, starts the truck just fine.
But how do i turn it off ?? The only way i can shut the thing off after starting it with the remote is by flicking the switch to "off". I tried turning the key to run then back to off, didn't shut it off. And is there some sort of timer on the 2500 ?? How long will it run for if i start it with the remote ??
Thanks,
Morrow

You have to attach the BRAKE input wire to the brake wire on the truck. The brake wire on the 2500 is BLACK in the small harness.

Right on, i think its just as easy to flip the switch at this point, also i blew a fuse in one of the main 12 volt constant wires, i think the truck was running and i hit button #2, which means that if i had the (theoretical) power door locks hooked up, if the truck was running and i hit #2 it would blow the fuse, somins wrong with my wiring.
Thanks for the help.
