I have read that I will have to use 2 relays or a special module to connect my Black Widow BW-853 to the power door locks.

Here are two diagrams I have been refered to:

http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/New%20Wires/New%20Wires/Wires/images/CHEVY%20IMPALA%20locks.gif

and

Nissan's Single Wire '91-'95 using 2 relays

https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page2.asp#n2

Does it make a difference what keyless system I am using as to what diagram to use?  Will both work?  Is there anything else I need to know to install my keyless system in a base model 2000 Impala.

Thanks in advance for you help.

U may need 2 SPDT Relays to supply a stronger GROUND Pulse, but you could try your unit first.

The BCM is a little pain to get out in the open

I use:

Power LockORANGE / BLACKAT BCM ON DRIVER SIDE **
Power UnlockSINGLE WIRE SYSTEMOF INST PANEL
** ORANGE / BLACK Door Lock Wire Must Receive A Ground (-) Pulse Thru A 470 Ohm Resistor To Lock And A Solid Ground (-) Pulse To Unlock.
