I have a question My GF has a 2003 elantra gt i am trying to get quotes for remote start but one place tells me $259 with keyless entry and another guy i know tells me that the elantra gt due to the factory keyless entry that you cannot hook up a remote start with keyless entry I am thinking hes full of shhh. so my question is if it is possible to have keyless entry remote start what parts would i need? and or if any whaqt kind of alarm something basic will do like some dei products.

Depending on the system being installed, that price is not out of line. We charge 279 CDN reg price for this vehicle because it has an Immobilizer key so you will need a bypass module as well. The keyless is simple (-) trigger if you have power door locks already. If not, you will need to add actuators to this. If actuators are required, then the 259 deal you got is steal of a deal !!
