I have a 1993 pontiac firebird I locked my keys inside the car and since I do not have a remote for the keyless entry me and my friends where trying different things including trying to unlock the door from the inside with awire. I didnt know that my car had a factory alarm I just bought the car 5 days ago and now I cant start my car because of the alarm is there any way I can disable the alarm so I can use the car?.

r u sure it is the factory alarm that is in there??  The documents that i have says that those cars dont come with factory alarms.....if it is aftermarket...find the valet button and turn ignition on and push valet button
Where theres is a wire there's a way.

I'm with redpeppers. I've never seen a 93 firebird with a factory alarm. If it does have one, you should be able to disarm it by unlocking it with a key in the door. If its after market, just pull the main power fuse, and if necessary, reconnect the starter wire they severed to give you teh added security of a starter kill.
Northstart.....or start it your damn self.

I got it working, what I did I lock the doors with the lock button on the driver door, I close the door and unlock with the key the security light came on for about 1 second and I just put the key in and turn it on.  my guess is that it was the anti-theft system I took off the bottom dash panel and I saw that the starter wire had been taped back together so it did have an after market alarm but they took it off before selling the car. Thank you for your time and your help.
