2000 Ford F150 Keyless Entry

As the title says I have a 2000 F150 XLT Super Cab.  I had keyless entry installed at a local car stereo shop.  This place has been in business for 25 years so I assume they are experts.  I had no problem with my power locks before and there is no factory installed system (doesn't go into programming mode).  When I went to the shop to get my pick-up they said that the motors were going bad.  I was thinking maybe they thought they were slow when I thought they were normal.  Anyways, I discovered that pushing lock and/or unlock (on the fob) will sometimes not work or maybe just one of the doors.  The manual buttons on the inside do the same thing.  So did they forget something or is it just a coincedence that both door lock motors decided to go bad at the same time when I got keyless entry installed?

Could be a co-inkydink....But I doubt it....If U are NOT sure of how it is wired, a person can "fry" the Actuator / s

Have had this happen a couple of times.  Most often the customer will not even know that the locks aren't working properly because you can pull the inside handle and the door will open even if it's locked.  I'm not saying the shop couldn't have screwed up some where.  I'm just saying it's possible they went.
