The other day a gal came in with a 05 F-150 and had some AMP power running boards installed. Now I have done about 5 sets on these trucks and NEVER ran into a problem. with this one, she had a Remote start (code alarm I think) installed at her dealer. Well needless to say on my passenger front door trigger wire BLACK/ pink I get a continuous ground and the dome light stays on and the passenger step remains down. when I cut that step out of the picture everything returns to normal. I tried diode Isolateing the step and no luck. Could it be the dome activation on the remote start?? I am stumped....
Thanks guys

Is the Remote Start Dome wire Diode Isolated?  Have you unhook the R/S Dome wire & tried yours?
