Hi guys i have a Alpine 8040 in my 1989 XJ6 Jag.  The alarm has been in the car since 1993 and the shock sensor seems to not work anymore.  Is there a way to get a new shock sensor without buying a new alarm or is a new alarm the way to go.  Also does anyone have a manual because i want to hook up my keyless entry which was never done when i had the alarm put in.

Thanks

Nick

Alpine 8040

You can still purchase the radar sensor for this unit I believe from Pacific Parts. Go to the Alpine site for more details.
