Ok I have the alarm installed and working with the exception of the remote start. I have gone over the wiring time and time again with no luck. I hit the first button and my alarm (Mannix SM700) just flashes the lights on car and beep w/ remote beeps as well. Looked up in manual and it says this is due to the "hand brake" wire not being grounded. Checked the wire, connection and EVEN grounded it directly and still same results. Imp lost. I have the Clutch relay bypass switch in place and even when I sit in the car and push in the clutch STILL same results. Does anyone have any ideas?

Most remote starters for manuals have to have it set to ready mode prior to remote start. Did you set the system into ready mode ?

Compustar units if you do this with a manual and you did not go into ready mode prior it will give you an error & not start. If he placed it into ready mode and then did this, I would say that he has the starter disable wired backwards.
