No wire.. Use a pulse timer or put the unit in diesel mode if it has that option.

Pulse Timer is Best.....................

On 7.3L Diesel Vehicles-The Tach Wire Is GREEN In A 42 Pin Plug Under The Clamp On The Engine Side Of The Air Intake Duct.

On 6.0 Turbo Diesel Vehicles-The Tach Wire Is ORANGE In A BLACK 46 Pin Conn At The PCM Located On Driver Fender Wall.(Pin 43 Bottom Row Of Middle Conn)
Glow Plug Wire:
7.3L Diesel- WHITE/ LT GREEN (-) At 42 Pin Conn. Located On The Driver Rear Of Eng. Under Intake.
6.0L Diesel- VIOLET/ORANGE At PCM Located On Driver Fender Well In Engine Compartment.

there is so LITTLE room under the dash of those trucks....I can't imagine needing to put even a tiny little "pulse timer" in the mix.

I love astroflex.....its all in one package2004 ford f250 glow wire -- posted image.   I really feel bad for you DEI guys

The glow plug wire is soooo easy to get to. Why not use it? All of the ford diesels have the glow plug relay pack, either on the pass. valve cover or pass. fire wall. it looks like a small amplifier. GREEN / WHITE wire, middle plug, middle wire POS(+)
