02 envoy key sense wire?

hey. im tring to find the wire for the passlock . ive seen it say lt green but i cut every one that was lt green and it still starts with the key. when i try to remote start it i can here the fuel pump kick in and the relays clicking but the starter does not crank. any help would be great!!

that is the right wire, it will be running down the steering column usually in the same wire loom as the ignition harness

The keysense wire is a light green..... you shouldn't have to cut it for a starter interface.
The passlock resistance wire is yellow, and is possibly the one that you are hunting for (there may be a couple yellows in there..... start it with the key, and then cut the thinnest yellow. If it is the right one, the passlock light should pop on)

if you take the steering shroud off up by the steering wheel, look at the top of the key cylinder or around that area, there should be a yellow wire, and ORANGE / black wire and a black I believe, the yellow wire is the one you cut

thanks guys, i was hunting the passlock wire witch i now know to be yellow and not lt green. i have found it and thank you guys for your fast responce!!

what is the difference between the keysense and the passlock? i thought it to be only one or the other.

passlock is your passive anti-theft circuit and the keysense circuit simply recognizes when the key has been slid into the ign cylinder....

one really has nothing to do with the other....
