Does anybody know excatly how a prox or (motion) sensor really works. i have been wondering for a while but i figured id ask here before calling dei. thanks for your time.

i use them a lot, so let me give it a try..the unit sends out a frequency, which gives backa signal when interupted, the alarm interprets it asa trigger depending if its dual or single, clifford however uses one wire to send its digital signal to the brain, as in the 508d u have a individual wire for each trigger..metal are big factors when using radar sensors.they only go through the glass, when using the clifford proximity it can b adjusted and tested with the remoteProx Sensor Question. -- posted image. as in the others u have to keep going in sidet he vehicle for adjustments..

thanks i iinstall a lot of 508d's but i was not sure excatly how they wored. thanks again.
