I did a search on the subject and found only 2 results that were not helpful.

Is astochart as good as the downloadable demo from their website? Do they have pictures and diagrams that are that good for a majority of their vehicles?

I know no software out there has perfect wiring and pictures for every vehicle, but does astochart do a pretty good job or not?

I would like opinions from people who have actually used astrochart or currently use it. Thank you.

The astrochart currently has info for 3601 cars dating back to the early 90's Pictures (good ones, not like the DEI pics) for most of them.

The cd-rom is 299.00 for all current info, and 50.00 per year for ALL the updates they do. I love it!

One thiong to keep in mind, you need to be an astero dealer to buy it. These cats take GOOD CARE of their dealers. A dealer code to enter on the phone to leave a message, so you can get back to work instead of waiting half an hour on hold. (like DEI) You leave a message, THEY CALL BACK IN MINUTES.

I have been involved with astro for nearly 5 years. Constant R/D to improve their product. The technical info is based on installing "their eqipment"

Yes It's that good!

So even if you are an authorized dealer you still have to pay extra to have the astrochart? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, when you have to buy 3000-4000 worth of remote starters and still have to pay extra for the wiring guide.

But thanks for the info kartuneman!

One follow up question, can you look up multiple vehicles with the software or do you have to enter a serial number of a astrostart product for each vehicle you look up?

If your copy of the astrochart is "valid" you can access it for as many of the vehicles as needed. The code you are refering to, is an install code to load it too your harddrive. The guy you got the copy of the astreochart from is the only guy that should be able to "get another code"

I have my serial number registered copy installed on 3 machines. I installed it on all 3  leagally. The guy that let you burn a copy of the cd, is flirting with haveing astro thump him on the head and remove his dealer arangement.
