2005 Silverado Ext Cab

I have a 05 silverado ext cab as stated above its a z71 doubt that would make any signifigance on a alarm install. I have the viper 791 xv  with the DEI 457GW   module which does both door locks and pass key .  I've done alot of head unit installs and car audio equipment but never any alarms. Grazing over the install manual it seems a bit cumbersome. I was wondering if there is any install guides that would be vehicle specific for my truck . I'm debating on doing the install my self or getting a shop to do it although I'm to poor for the shop at the moment and I'm suppose to install my audio system over the weekend. So I'd like to get the alarm in asap any opinions or help would be much appreciated.
