I am doing three remote starts and need to know which modules to use.

1 03 Ford Focus

2  05 Ford Escape

3  02 Pont Grand Prix

I will be using the DEI parts, I think the Fords will use the 555SW, but not sure on the Pont, 555GW?

Also does anyone have a list of what vehicles use what DEI modules.  I was an installer for 15 years and am doing a couple for guys on our fire department, but I do not have access to my tech support anymore :(

Thanks

Adam

the 2003 ford focus uses the 555SW or the 556U

the 2005 ford escape will use the 556U and you have to use the key sense wire

the 2002 pontiac grand prix will use the  555GW or the 556U

with all the 556U's the customer or whoever needs an extra key

i don't know why you are asking that question cause the 2005 Escape as said above uses the 556U, maybe you are wondering about the 555U yes they are the same thing

the 555P is used for some expeditions, and f series light duty, some explorers, crown vics and some mustangs

The info I have (from DEI) is that the 556UW is the primary module for the 2005 Escape and that the 556U is an alternate module that is compatible.

Category:      Immobilizer Bypass
Required:      Yes
Type:      SecuriLock
Part#:      556UW
Notes:      Use the BLACK/ pink (+) key sense wire at the ignition harness to interrupt the blue wire on the 555U so that when the key is inserted to do take over the vehicle does not see two transponders at the same time. Refer to DirectFax document 1079 for wiring information.
Alternates:      555U, DesignTech 20402, DesignTech 29402
