Have a GMC Sierra with a remote start and keyless entry installed. My problem is when the doors are locked with the switch inside..then the remote start fob is used to unlock the door, the factory security system triggers. I have the disarm wire from the remote start hooked to the light green wire a the bcm so it does not trigger with the remote starting. How can I make it so if I want to lock with the switch inside the alarm does not go off when I unlock with the remote start fob ????

the installer hooked up the rearm wire to the drivers door pin to arm the factory alarm when you lock the doors with the remote and turn off the radio when the truck shuts off.
I am guessing your starter has 1 button for locks? it doesn't know you locked the doors with the switch and it wants to lock first then unlock.

Yes the re-arm is hooked to the door pin to shut the RAP down.. So if the re-arm wire was not hooked up then the alarm would never re-arm???

If your remote starter cannnot be programmed to pulse the disarm wire during the unlock cycle, then you need to split the unlock wire into two circuits. One circuit will be a positive to pulse the white unlock wire and the other will be a ground pulse to hook to the disarm wire in the truck. Use a relay to convert the required pulse's polarity form either negative or positive. DO NOT directly convert the positive unlock wire to a negative and hook it to the disarm wire because anybody could shut down the alarm be merely using the door unlock switch. You must isolate the pulses, so that they only come from the remote starter when you command them to.
