I am working on a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM and I am installing a remote start. I was checking the voltage drop for the Passlock system( the yellow and back wires). I accidently connected on of the ends of the yellow wirer directly to the black wire. NOW CAR WONT START with KEY. I have allready checked the following: fuses, fuel pressure good, Main, IGN1, IGN2, start and grounds are all good.  Vehicle is in park.  Checked OBDII with reader and it was clean. Passlock voltage drop is 4.95v normal and 2.45 in crank. I tried disconnecting the battery for 15min did not work. WHAT CAN I DO PLEASE HELP!!! (I am going to check if I get spark here shortly) please email me servaas_s@yahoo.com My Gf is going to kill me if I dont have this car running again before monday.

My wife is going to kille me if I dont get this thing working

Is the security ligth, blinking or allways on?

if it is blinking, open the ignition switch, (do not crank the vehicle), and let it sit like that for 10 minutes, the ligth should be on for the entire time, when the 10 minutes has passed the ligth should turn off and you can crank the car.

hope this help........
