I have an Ungo SR5000 2 way car alarm. I need a DEI477T replacement remote. I have found replacement remotes saying DEI477T, but they are for different alarm brands. Will they work for all brands that used the DEI477T even though the name on the face is different? Thanks!

That Ungo alarm was made by DEI that is why the remote says something different. And no that remote won't work on all DEI brands as some of the alarm's remotes work on different frequencies.

all remote with the same number should work... a 471 remote is a 471 regardless of whether the name on it says Valet, Viper, Python, etc, etc.....    the same applies to pretty much all DEI remotes... a 479 remote works on the Clifford, Viper, Python units etc......

Kevin, When you said "471 & 479" did you mean to write 477 because mine is a 477. Thanks for your help! My Ungo had what started to be a little black dash at the bottom of the display which turned into a crack and a loss of my display. I can't find anyone to warranty it so I have to buy one. At nearly $100, I don't want to buy the wrong remote. Thanks for your help!!!

yes i was saying "for example"   all 477 remotes are the same regardless on what name is on the front whether it be Python, Viper, Clifford, etc..... the letter after # denotes which brand.... 479X being Clifford, 479V being Viper, etc.... yet they are all the same remote and are cross-compatible.... many Viper customers come to me to buy the Clifford remote because they like the carbon fibre look better....
