I have a 2001 olds aurora 4.0 and i need to install a remote start and 2-way security system.  I purchased the clifford rsx3.5.  I bought a dvd on how to install a remote start and security system and i have read through the manual given by clifford but i think i got even more confused.  Sometims i feel like i'd have better luck smashing open a pinata with a toothbrush then gettin this alarm installed.  I tried to get a local installer to do it but the lowest price i got was in the lower $300's (labor only).  I guess i am needing any help anyone can offer:  Vehicle wiring diagram, short cuts, any xtra modulators/relays, etc.  needed.  For some reason i can't figure this out and i need it put in lamen's terms.  Thanks!

If you've never done a basic alarm then you are in for a challenge. Basically what you're doing is intergrating the alarm into your car. The best I can do for you is tell you to print off a tech sheet and see where the wires are in your car. Use a DMM and go for it. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, let someone else do it.
