Hello to everyone

On very cold days my car(97 Maxima) won't turn over, when this happens my alarm start so go crazy. The remote keypad(JTI) is several years old, and is sometimes takes me 5-10 mins to turn it off. This morning it happened and i could not get it to turn off, i had to disconnect the battery in order to stop it. Once i reconnect the battery the problem will still be there. My question is, is there a way whether it be inside the keypad? under the hood? or whatever, to disengage the alarm. I will eventually either take it out completely, or look to have it fixed. The place that installed the alarm has closed. Please any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

depending on the alarm configeration you can becuase it is an older alarm pull the harness to the brain of the alarm and it will get you going. but will have to remove that faulty alrm completly.
